A Personal Word from our DOCC Sr. Pastor Dr. John Lane, Sr.
A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered. Thank you all for celebrating the life of our Brother Timothy Corley at his home going service today. Brother Corley, your DOCC Family loves you and will miss you dearly.
“Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.” -Thessalonians 4:13-14

Please join us this evening (6PM) for Bible Study on Go-to-Meeting (Online or Dial 1.669.224.3412, Access Code: 616-013-293). Tonight’s Bible Study is inspired by the following devotional: https://www.bible.com/reading-plans/15834-in-jesus-name/day/2
Anthena Brown was inspired to write this book because of her love for children. She learned from a guidance counselor a few years ago that they are all different but special. She then began to think about how she could write a godly children’s book. She asked the Lord to give her a title, and He did. She wanted one that kids could identify with, so He gave her God Can Keep the Scaries Away.. A lot of children are afraid of things that frighten them, especially in their darkest hour, but God wants them to know that regardless of what they are going through, He is always there for them.
Get your copy of this magnificent book written by our very own Missionary Anthena Brown here!

Many South Carolinians have unclaimed money sitting in a state fund.
The Office of the State Treasurer has an unclaimed property program, where South Carolinians can search their names to see if they have any money in there.
People may think this doesn’t apply to them, but it’s actually very common. State Treasurer Curtis Loftis says it’s easier to find money in the fund than it is to win the lottery.
Check to see if you have unclaimed property here!
Gov. Henry McMaster and DHEC announced that any South Carolina resident aged 16 or older, regardless of health status or preexisting conditions, can begin scheduling their appointment to receive COVID-19 vaccine.
Individuals eligible to receive vaccine can find a vaccine location at scdhec.gov/VaxLocator, which currently includes major hospitals, DHEC sites, DHEC mobile clinics, and Doctor’s Cares locations. Individuals can also call the DHEC Care Line at 1-855-472-3432 for assistance with scheduling an appointment.
Vaccine can ONLY be administered by appointment – you can’t walk into a health care facility and ask for a vaccine.
